Working with Melissa Andersen was nothing short of amazing!! First, I’m grateful that she was able to attend my birth. She was filling in for my original doula, whom unfortunately got sick the day of my induction. My original doula sent me this sweet soul and she stepped in and instantly got to work. She supported every aspect of my birthing plan wholeheartedly and did everything in her power to keep me pushing through. In those moments where I felt like I wanted to give up because things were becoming extremely intense, it was her calming tone that helped me through it. She was hands on from beginning to end and I absolutely loved that. You can tell she loves what she does and is very knowledgeable. She knows what to say according to your body queues which made it extremely easy to focus on her directive. She indeed played a prominent role in the success of my labor and delivery! I recommend her to anyone in need of a really great doula! 🥰🤗

Melissa was AMAZING! She is incredibly personable, supportive, and knowledgeable. I felt like I could come to her with any question I had. My labor lasted all night long and all the next day, and she remained attentive to my needs the entire time. She was incredibly helpful to my husband through my birth. Melissa’s is an extremely good listener. She is also very perceptive when it comes to understanding and meeting peoples’ needs. I have watched her intuitively give a mother what she needs before she even knows she needs it! She’s a natural with both babies and adults.
